Gitsprout uses a simple credit system. No subscription, no surprise charges.
How credits work
You start with 1 free credit
Every new account gets 1 credit on sign-up, no payment required. That's 1 full report, enough to generate appraisal evidence or try either mode.
1 credit per report
Each generated report costs 1 credit, whether appraisal or CV mode. The credit is deducted only when generation completes successfully.
Buy more when you need them
When your credits run low, buy a pack from the sidebar or the credits screen. Payment is handled by Stripe. No card details are stored by Gitsprout.

Common questions
What happens if my report fails mid-generation?
If generation fails due to a service error on our side, your credit is not deducted. You'll see a message saying "Don't worry, your credit hasn't been used" and you can retry.
What if I run out mid-report?
Gitsprout checks your balance before starting generation. If you have zero credits, generation won't start and you'll be taken straight to the credits screen.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you purchase never expire. Your free credit also has no expiry.
Can I get a refund?
If you have unused credits and something isn't working as expected, email us at hello@talksprout.com and we'll sort it out.
Is this a subscription?
No. Credits are a one-off purchase. Pay once, use when you need them. There is no recurring charge.
